The outlook compares oil market signals, recent pump-price observations and news to estimate the next direction of petrol and diesel prices. The timing suggestion, confidence score and explanation show how much evidence supports that outlook. A forecast is an estimate, and local pump prices may move differently.
The fuel price forecast page lists today’s outlook and average pump prices for every covered country, with a page for each country and US state. The app shows the same outlook for your region and can alert you when it changes.
No. Prices are averages for your country, or for your state in the US, or a capital-city station average where that is the available coverage. They use your region’s currency and volume unit, and are context for planning a fill-up rather than a quote from a specific station.
Crude oil is one input into petrol and diesel prices. Refining, transport, taxes, exchange rates and the timing of retail price changes also affect what drivers pay. The app’s chart keeps Brent in US dollars per barrel and pump prices in local units so you can compare their trends.
Location is optional. Fuel Signal uses it only to find your country or US state, and receives just that region, not your GPS coordinates. You can always choose your region yourself. See the privacy policy for details.
